The Effective Utility Management (EUM) effort is the result of an historic project sponsored by six associations representing the  U.S. water and wastewater sector, in collaboration with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The result was the EUM Primer, which identifies "Ten Attributes of Effectively Managed Water Sector Utilities" , as well as suggests measures of success and resources to help utilities improve their processes. As a member of the group that developed the ten attributes of effectively managed water utilities, as well as the originator of the assessment tool used in the Primer, Donna is in a unique position to help your utility apply the concepts of Effective Utility Management through in-house or multiagency workshops and consulting.  In January 2014, she was certified as an Sustainable Utilities Workshop trainer by the USEPA. .
